Google Insights for Search – Google's New Product
Google recently announced its new tool called Google Insights for Search . This tool is used to track specific keywords or search terms across the World Wide Web.
Trevor Claiborne from Google wrote:
Today, we’re launching Google Insights for Search , a new product designed with the advertiser in mind. It provides more flexibility and functionality for advertisers and marketers to understand search behavior, and adds some cool new features like a world heat map to graphically display search volume and regional interest.
This product would be a great help for advertisers to learn and understand search behaviors for them to win different programs and to have a more effective ad campaigns.

With this tool, you will be able to see Search Term Interest Overtime that will help you see the trend for a particular keyword. Regional Interest is also seen in the report to visualize search terms popularity in a specific region and the Google Insights for Search also have Search Terms related on a specific keyword which has two categories, Top Searches and Top Rising Searches.
